Where does our wood come from?
The wood we use doesn’t begin its journey in a lumberyard or sawmill, but much earlier—often decades ago—when each beam or plank was still part of an old barn, wooden house, or storage building. In our work, we seek out old buildings awaiting demolition, which, although no longer usable, hide valuable materials within their structure. From these buildings—barns, sheds, attics, wooden cabins, and other rural constructions—we carefully handpick wooden elements that have been shaped by time. Sunlight, wind, wear, and age have all contributed to their unique rustic character. Once inspected, cleaned, and prepared, these elements are reborn as authentic pine and oak products, ready to bring warmth and history into modern spaces.
